DOMESTIC RELATIONS

For twenty-five years our office has been a leader in all aspects of the domestic relations field including divorce, child custody and support, as well as parenting time issues, both during any initial case filings or on a post-judgment basis. We are experienced, as well, with paternity actions as well as related criminal and quasi-criminal situations such as those presented by Personal Protection Orders and domestic violence.

DIVORCE
Whether you are initiating an action or defending one, this office has extensive experience representing clients in Wayne, Oakland, Washtenaw or Livingston counties. We are involved representing clients with, or without children, and in cases with both large or small marital estates.

CHILD CUSTODY, SUPPORT, and PARENTING TIME
Our goal in all child-related cases is to provide aggressive representation of our clients, while at the same time, maintaining an awareness of the sensitive nature of these issues. Whether during a divorce proceeding, on a post-judgment basis, or in paternity actions, we have been helping clients solve problems involving their children for over two decades.

PATERNITY
Paternity can be established through the initiation of Court proceedings in which blood testing can be utilized if necessary. Custody, parenting time and child support issues are also dealt with in these cases.

PERSONAL PROTECTION ORDERS
Today Personal Protection Orders are obtained as a separate action either in conjunction with a pending divorce or standing on their own. These orders have largely replaced injunctions, which had been issued in divorces. Our office will either initiate or defend such an action, or bring actions to terminate such an order.
